6082 is similar alloy for 6061 with enhanced mechanical properties. 6082 is widely used in the European market for  General Engineering applications.  It offers a high range of mechanical properties with good corrosion resistance values. 6082  can be fabricated by most of the commonly used techniques including Machining, Drilling, Bending , Cutting etc The alloy is heat-treatable allowing to reach higher mechanical values.
